Day 2 – A Card A Day Challenge

Today I have a card using a pre-colored digital image from Morgan Fitzsimons entitled Butterfly Kisses.  I just love all the detail and softness of this image.  I am still on the Scrapbook Stamp Society Design Team but I am also designing specifically with Morgan Fitzsimons’ images (more details on this will be coming).  I am very excited because since starting with SSS I have always loved Morgan’s Cameos, Florals, and Borders.  I have so many new images to work with that it will be easy to continue on my at least a card a day challenge!

Close-up Butterfly Kisses (600x800)I have used products from Pebbles (glitter candy dots), Anna Griffin (3-Dimensional Stickers from the Carmen Collection), K & Company (Lemon Citron adhesive borders), and some stickers from a pad that I don’t know the source ( :( )  I was originally going to design this 6 X 6 card all in pink.  I am so glad I was able to find these embellishments in my stash box and pull some other colors into the design.

You will be able to purchase CDs with precolored images from Fitztown.  They won’t just have Morgan’s images, there will be other artists too!  I am so excited.

Butterfly Kisses Card (800x784)I hope you have found some inspiration with me today.  Thanks for stopping by and remember, I am only 2 days in to my card a day challenge to myself.

I will be entering this card into some challenges this week:

Alphabet Challenge - F is for Fantasy

Broken Box Stock - Mother’s Day

Creative Corner - Flowers &/or Mother’s Day

    • Silvi, thanks so much for coming by. Wow, Germany!! That’s where my husband’s family is originally from; we have always wanted to visit but still haven’t had a chance. So happy I found the Alphabet Challenge.
